Forum thread: Server keeps turning off

Hi, I run my server on a windows laptop but use StearSoft on a Mac. I have recently not been able to access StearSoft on Windows or Mac.When i check the server it says it is turned off, so i turn it on and i get a message saying that the widow is not responding. Could you please try your best to give me a solution to my problem. Thanks Dan |

Hi Dan, Thank you for your post. Sorry. That sounds frustrating. My first suggestion is to try a full restart of the laptop: Where the power off (shutdown) button is, but choose 'Restart'. See if it works immediately after that - initially on the Laptop, and if that works then from the Mac too. I suspect that will make it work - and whether it does or doesn't will let me then give guidance for going forwards. Let me know how you get on. If you could also let me know what version of windows you are running too then I can tailor any further guidance appropriately. Yours, Marcus |
