Forum thread: Issue since updating to 5 8 2
Mark Fertig 01 April 2014 18:10 |
Hi Marcus,
I have just updated the software to version 5.8.2, and when returning back onto STEARsoft, the interface isn't displaying properly?

Could you help?

Thanks Sam for your post and for the screenshot which clarifies exactly what you mean. Is it still happening? Are you able to try a different browser?
Yours

Sam,
I've had a bit more of a look at this. I'd be very surprised if this update caused this. It looks like a browser setting to me if I'm going to be honest. The easy way I can reproduce this is to go to my advanced settings for my browser and switch off showing images. If you can try a different web browser that might help work out what's going on... It also crosses my mind that yesterday was April 1st - You haven't had anyone play a (not very funny) prank on your computer in this kind of way?
The result is obviously not good, so it would be good to hear if you can resolve the issue. If you don't get anywhere, please give me some more details including what you've tried so that I can try to help further...
Thank you for your patience.
Yours,
Marcus |

Marcus,
I do apologise for this, it is my fault. I prefer using a few different GIFs that I made to use on STEARsoft ( see http://s10.postimg.org/sof9ahhtl/image.jpg ) to make it a more appealing colour for me, and also changing then circle O to a red N so it would stand out.
After deleting the ones I didn't want, I forgot to transfer the new ones :)

Sam,
Thanks for getting back to me on this. Glad to hear you're sorted, and nice to hear someone has been experimenting with alternative graphics.
Best wishes,
