Hello Marcus. A teacher is reporting the error shown in the screenshot below. What do I need to do about this? Mark

This is because they have been registered for a Palm device license (as opposed to using an iPhone/iPod/iPad). I suspect this was in error. In which case, go to your administrator page and where it says 'mismatch' in the 'Palm license' column, click 'delete'. You may need to show the 'Mobile device details' column to see this. I would also edit their details and delete their 'Synchronisation ID'.

Thanks for swift response. I have deleted the text in the ID area of her personal details, however the error beneath now shows. Thanks - Mark

Hi Mark,
Please re read. There were two things to do.

OK,
I realise that the order of doing those things was important...
Put back something into the ID area (type anything, like qwerty). This will then show the delete option for a mismatching Hotsync ID as originally described. Once that has been deleted, go back and clear the ID area. Sorry for this.
Yours,
