Mark Fertig 18 May 2015 17:42	Hi Marcus, a teacher is trying to update his preferences - keyboard short cuts for present, however if he enters a backlash and saves it, when he opens a register screen all the data is not there? Let me know if you would like screenshots. Mark
Marcus Butler (STEARsoft) 18 May 2015 19:26	Hi Mark, Many thanks for reporting this. Very easy to reproduce and a clear error. The fix may be to disallow backslashes - I will look into it. In the mean time, obviously your teacher should remove the backslash option in preferences and use something else. Really appreciate you alerting me to this. Yours, Marcus

Marcus Butler (STEARsoft) 28 May 2015 14:18	Hi Mark, There will be a fix in the next release, but that's not likely to be any time particularly soon. Also, the back-slash key is unlikely to work in most browsers anyway: it's not worked in the ones I've tested. As hinted above, your teacher should remove the back-slash from their preferences screen and carry on as if this key was not permitted. Yours, Marcus
