Hi Marcus, On Admin - Data control and locks. The last three, changing/adding form names, term dates and timetable data, I have changed the URL from preventnotice.html to index.html, however when I save the settings and go back to it, the URL is still preventnotice.html. The others are fine, just seems to be last 3. Mark |

Oops. A bit of an obvious bug that shouldn't have got into a release version. Thank you for reporting this. Fortunately, a very trivial bug to fix, so the latest version (5.8.8) on the website has this rectified. Thanks again for letting me know. Yours, Marcus |

Perfect - thank you. Do you have any plans for linking teacher accounts with the AD? Would be much easier?! |

Hi Marcus, AD is Active Directory ran on the server with all the user info - and can easily be linked to other applications such as SIMS. If STEARsoft was to use it, it would result in users having the same username and password for STEARsoft as their network login. Mark. |

Thank you Mark, Yes that would be neat. I agree. I looked into it once a while ago and didn't get very far (it wasn't trivial and there were things of higher priority). I've added it to the list though, so I will look at it again at some point. Thanks again. Yours, Marcus |
