Forum thread: Couple of bugs
Mark Fertig 19 October 2014 22:18 |
Hi Marcus,
Sam here. I have noticed on a few occasions, when saving a change of period to the timetable, the Create/make registers doesn't always come up automatically?
Also, for Homework - Incomplete/Missing incident, I have the threshold set to three, however when I add a third incident, I am not alerted in anyway. The only way I would know is looking down the 'Incidents' tab of the class register section and notice the boxes in yellow. If my memory serves me correctly, when I have done this in the past, a pop up box would appear when adding the third incident saying threshold reached?
Kind regards,
Sam |

Hi Sam, Thanks for alerting me to these. I'll have a look. Are you aware of the 'expires' attribute on incidents? That might explain what you're seeing. Have a look at the help or the video tutorial on incidents.
Yours,

Marcus,
Ah! I have set the expiry to 365 days, however, can this be a date rather than a certain number of days, i.e the date at the end of term? Also, I would like it to alert me on every cycle of 3 occasions, to match the homework policy of 3 no homeworks = detention. Is there a way to set it to 3, 6, 9 etc?
Thanks for your help,
Sam |

Thank you Sam for your post and ideas.
There isn't a way to do what you say, but once over the threshold, in the message that appears it tells you how many times, so it is quick to know if it is the 3rd, 6th, 9th etc.
Yours,
Marcus
