Dear Deborah,
The Activate button for a paid license is the same one as the one to activate a trial, so just do the same as you did when activating the trial. If you didn't already do this, the QuickStart video tutorial will give a better explanation than trying to write something here. It's the tutorial almost at the top of: http://www.stearsoft.co.uk/tutorials.php
I hope that resolves the problem.

Hi
We have downloaded the paid app for iPad, it keeps telling me ' sorry you have reached the lite version limit for adding sessions you could delete some unwanted sessions to come back below the limit 3 40 20'
Please can you can confirm what I need to do to continue using the app I have paid for.
Thanks Lloyd |

Dear Lloyd,
Thank you very much indeed for getting in touch about this so quickly.
This is a bug that has just been introduced in yesterday's release. Sincere apologies.
A fix is already with Apple to process for the App Store, but frustratingly that will take up to a week before you'll get it.
In the mean time I'll get you a work-around, but that may take me a day... I will post again within 24 hours (and hopefully much sooner).
I'm sorry again for this frustration and inconvenience. And thank you again for bringing this to my attention so quickly.
Yours,
Marcus |

Dear Lloyd,
Sooner in fact...
The simple work-around is to add individual sessions for what you need over the coming week until the fix appears in the App store. That aspect is not broken...
It's more complex, and you'll need some time, but I have also given your account a free PC individual license... It's a little more hassle, but you may find it useful in other ways... Anyway, If you want a Work-around to produce multiple sessions before the fix appears on the App store: 1) Find a PC 2) Install STEARsoft (from download page on this website) 3) In the administrator web section enter your customer ID and password (as you use to access this forum). Then press the Activate button. 4) Enter a user account for yourself in this administrator area (invent a username and password). 5) On your iPad, enter the username you just gave yourself in the synchronise setup area, and 'discover' your PC server. 6) Synchronise (initiated from the iPad) 7) Back on the PC, use the web interface to log into your created user account. 8) Use the 'Make registers' feature to generate multiple sessions. 9) Synchronise again (activated from the iPad)
This process in effect copies all your iPad data to the PC, adds the sessions, then copies it back with the added sessions. It's a bit over-complex if you don't want the PC side of things, but it's there as an option if it sounds appealing...
I hope this manages to enable you to progress, and I hope once you get over this initial frustration you find STEARsoft to be a useful and trouble-free tool.
Apologies once again.
Yours with best wishes,
Marcus |

Dear Lloyd,
Apple have been pretty efficient. An update was released in the App store late yesterday which should fix the problem you reported.
Thank you again for reporting this.
Yours,
Marcus. |
