Component: (stearsoft.co.ukSTEARsoft web interfacePalm-device) STEARsoft version: 5.11 Support request: Dear Support, We have tried to change our school network over to windows 7 but the sever didnt accept the change of the OS so we had to revert back to windows XP and when we re-install STEARSoft We could'nt reactivate it- PLEASE RELPY ASAP AS WE ARE ON PAPER REGISTER AT THE MOMENT Thanks, Chris |

Dear Chris,
Thank you for your support request. The reason it was not reactivating was that the STEARsoft license only covers installation on one server. Your account records 3 installations and was therefore preventing a 4th installation. There should have been a message to explain this. I can see that the operating system reinstallation you describe would cause a couple of these. I have reset one of the installations so you should be able to now reactivate successfully.
One question of interest. I note that you have just one teacher license, so am wondering what size school you are using this in. It sounds quite big from your message.

Hi Marcus, Need your help. Please can you deactivate the licences on my account. as i have already activated it on 3 pcs as we had some pc problems in the office. how ever we now have new pc's so need to reinstall but cant activate licence.
