Hello,

We have just upgraded to Windows 8 and we need to have our account reset to allow us to activate the software, this would be of great help.

Dear Chris,

Thank you for your post.

This should already be possible as 2 computer upgrades are permitted as part of the license; just try activating your license on the new computer and it should work.

If you have already had 2 upgrades it will indeed need manually resetting. I have made a note to check your account when I have some time on Monday and will reset it then if necessary.

Thanks for the quick reply! Also I think my account does need manual resetting as it says this:
"Sorry. STEARsoft is only licensed for one computer, and you can only change the computer STEARsoft is installed on twice within a license period. If you have a legitimate reason for changing your computer beyond this, please contact technical support to explain the situation and see if it can be changed."

Hello,
I was sorry to hear you'd like to cancel your order, but have processed this and issued a refund.  You should have received by now a separate email from PayPal confirming this. Once you are satisfied that you have your refund please use the customer login area to delete your account (there is a Close account option in the left panel).
If you are happy to share why you changed your mind, I'd be glad to hear and very grateful.
