Afternoon, how do I message/notice another member of staff on stearsoft. I have discovered the whole school announcement feature but not just one member of staff or a selection? Also whilst I'm here, is there a way to send out a missing registers notice when a teacher hasn't completed a register. I understand the red flashing '!', but is there a way to send a notice as well? Looking forward to hearing back from you. |

Mark, You can use the class note area to type a message, otherwise schools tend to use email for such things which is a tried and tested form of communication. Yours, Marcus |

P.S. If you tag a class as 'Priority' (in the Class Details tab) then Automatic messages are generated for any unmarked (blank) attendance. These appear for sessions a day or more old that have blanks in them. In the web version, these messages appear in the top left area. In the iPhone/iPad App, they appear below a register sheet. This area of automatic messages also flags up inconsistent attendance (if a student skips a lesson, but is otherwise present in school). |
