Dear Sir Here in my school students get promotion on their last class results score means a student gotten first position that will sit on seat no one and so on ...... for this how to i can sort I have entered a serial no of their reaults with the name and i wants that order of class Please do the needful Regards Jamiatur Raza India |

Dear Jamiatur Raza, Thank you for your post. If you put a number at the start of the Surname, it should sort as you would like. Because it is sorting text you should use numbers with a zero in front to make them all the same length: 001, 002, 003, . . . , 015, 016 etc otherwise 13 will appear before 5 for example.
