Hi, I am having a problem trying to sync my iPhone to the server, My phone cant find the server? Try to type it in manually and still no joy? Thanks for your time |

Dear Sam, Thank you for your post. The most likely problem is a firewall blocking the communication. Any firewall needs to allow stearserver.exe to pass through. Depending on your firewall software you may also need to allow traffic on port 13031 through. The windows firewall can be accessed through the windows control panel. Virus protection software often provides a firewall too which you will need to access through that software (so 2 places to check). The other possible problem is a routing issue. If you have never connected your iPhone to your computer with other applications, you may like to try something else to check general connectivity. I hope this gives enough pointers to solve the problem, but do post back here with more details if you still can't get things to work. Yours, Marcus. |
