Hi,
I used to not work on a Friday so I didn't have Friday on my timetable, however I am not in on a Friday and need to add a day to my timetable. I have a Indv. licence and tried changing it in the Admin mode, but when I go back to my account nothing happens.
Please could you tell me where I can add a registration day?
Thanks |

Dear Sam,
Thank you for your posts.
I realised what you meant...
I can't believe this hasn't come up before, but it looks like you've hit upon a missing feature... In school deployments the central admin area does the job as you've hinted at, but this doesn't have an effect on individual licenses.
If you synchronise with an iPad or iPhone and have the full version of the App, you can use the school setup on there to add a teaching day.
I could tell you how to edit the data files to add a teaching day, but I'll look into this a bit and see if I can get a more elegant solution...
So I will write again soon.
Thank you again for raising this.
Yours,

Dear Sam,
If you install the most recent version of STEARsoft (version 5.6.10), there is now an option to add additional days to your timetable: 1) Log into your user account (not the admin area). 2) go to 'Timetable' from the left Options panel. 3) In the Timetable screen, click 'Edit timetable' at the bottom. 4) Click the 'add a day' option towards the bottom of the screen. 5) Select Friday and click 'Add Day'
Note that you can install the most recent version over the top of your current installation; all data is preserved including your licensing information.
I hope this resolves the issue satisfactorily.
