Forum thread: How do I delete one student and all their data individually

I'm looking to find a way to delete individual students and all their data so they no longer appear in the class register Context: I teach after school drama classes and use STEARsoft to register attendance. If a child comes for a few weeks and then leaves, when I delete them from register their old attendance marks stay in place and therefor my student count total (under list of names) is wrong at the bottom. Highly frustrating, how can I fix? I use app on my ipad, haven't got access to it on PC |

Dear Tillie, Thank you for your post and sorry to hear of your frustration. Delete the student as you did (from a class attendance sheet via the Edit and Add/Remove student(s)... options), but before deleting the student, change the 'point in time' at the top of the screen to a suitable date in the past (eg the date they first joined the class). By changing the 'point in time', they will reappear in the list to be deleted... I'd hope that will solve your issue, but please post back here if not. Best wishes, Marcus |
