The user guide contains guidance for features that you might not discover just 'playing' with STEARsoft.

The tutorials are also good to remember. The recent ones are videos and only about 5 minutes long. A useful quick start which might save you several times 5 minutes.

Dear Jack,

Once you have created a class, you click on the class, either in your timetable or in the class list. If this isn't the problem, if you haven't watched the Quickstart tutorial (5 min 31 secs) found near the top of the tutorials page, I'd recommend doing that. If you're still stuck, then post back here with more details.

Yours,

Marcus

Thanks for your post Shail,

If I understand you correctly, you need to create some more sessions for 2014. I'll assume you're using the PC version of STEARsoft. Say again if using an iPhone or iPad as it's a little different in terms of order you do things...
 - If you haven't already got a timetable set up, create a timetable.
 - Create a new term with term dates as required starting from Jan (don't forget to specify any holiday weeks or days - such as a half term)
 - In the register screen click 'Add Session' at the top. Choose to create multiple sessions with the term you've just created.

This creates a new term of sessions for your same class list of students.

In order to see the new 2014 sessions before term starts use the option at the top (with the 'Go' button) to view the whole term, or use the mini arrows to jump forward a few weeks.

I hope this helps, but if I've not understood you, please give some more details about your situation and what it is you're struggling to do.

Yours,

Marcus
