We have just purchased the license for 200 students but don't seem to be able to add anymore than 100 names to a single register. Is there a way to increase the limit? Do we need to delete the old register before we are allowed to increase the limit? |

Hi James, The student limit is a total limit for the whole school. You could split the class into multiple groups (classes)... Whole school reports can then collate summary information. Individual class sizes are limited as you have discovered. It might be worth knowing the limit is 36 for the mobile version... Marcus |

Hi Marcus, Thank you for your reply. We are using this system for our Breakfast and After School clubs - as the children change frequently I wanted to create a single register for Breakfast and then one for the After School Club - is there no way to increase the register limit on the iPad version? We opted for the 200 students because we have approx 147 registered to the clubs that could use us across the term, giving us space to grow. To use your software at the moment I have had to create 4 separate registers (A-D, E-L etc) for both the BC and the ASC - giving me 8 registers to trawl through for each session; as you can imagine this is not ideal. I welcome any help with this issue. The current set up is not ideal for us and a fix would prevent us needing to look elsewhere. Kind regards, |

Hi Marcus, Yes would be interested in a Beta version. We will be using the app for our registers and if the register could be unrestricted - or at least restricted to the student limit of the licence that would be idea. Thank you. |

Dear James, Version 6.0.0 was made available today which includes a fix for this issue in the PC version. The iPhone/iPad version of STEARsoft remains unchanged for the time-being. Yours, Marcus |

For anyone reading this thread, the full iPod/iPad version has been updated to support class sizes greater than 36. Available now in the App Store. You should synchronise with the new Cloud Server version of STEARsoft if using class sizes greater than 36. A STEARsoft Cloud Server also supports large class sizes. |
